The Shakedown

Updated:
  • The Shakedown is a side-quest in Divinity: Original Sin 2
  • You obtain it once you encounter Elodi near the Shrine
  • Suggested level: Any

Summary

Two thugs bully an elf at entrance. You can talk to them or fight them if you want some bonus EXP and loot. Ifan ben-Mezd will also assist you.

Walkthrough

Variant 1:

  1. Kill the Thugs.
  2. Elodi will give you a severed head, eat it as an elf will give you First Aid skill.

Variant 2:

  1. Help the Thugs by killing Elodi and Ifan ben-Mezd. (Rewards?)

Variant 3:

  1. Remain impartial.
  2. Elodi will deal with the attackers and escape. (Tested in release version?)
  3. Afterwards, you will find her in Caverns, but you will not be able to talk to her.

Variant 4:

  1. Using the [Outlaw] tag, convince the thugs to back down.
  2. You will gain Attitude for all part members and be asked to meet her in a cave.
  3. Go to the cave and talk with her; you will get a severed head that when consumed by an Elf will grant you the First Aid skill.

Optional:  You can go back and kill the thugs for more experience and a unique item.

Rewards

  • 300 Experience if you side with Elodi and stop the thugs. (Confirmed in release version?)
  • 480 Experience if you choose to kill the thugs. (Confirmed in release version?)
  • Elodi will give you a severed head, eat it as an elf will give you First Aid skill.

  • Burro's Club.

  • +100 Attitude towards any party members if you help Elodi.
